I can no longer brag about being cavity free. I got my first filling in October of last year.

I don't like taking pills, medication, or visiting the doctor. I'm one of the wait until the last minute folks when it comes to such. However, I am definitely in favor of trying natural remedies.

Despite the above, this year I opted for my first flu shot. I did get sick a few weeks later. Fortunately, it wasn't a deathly ill kind of sick. Maybe it was a coincidence, maybe it wasn't.

Four or five years ago I stopped wearing a watch. The battery went dead on the one I was wearing at the time and I refused to relace it or buy a new watch. Since the time is all around me, I feel there is no need.

CSI, Law & Order, Cold Case - I can watch them over and over.
I don't particulary care for perfume per se. I opt for the heavy cream lotions by Bath & Body and Victoria's Secret instead.
I love a good Riesling and that's pretty much the only wine I really previously cared for. A few months ago I expanded my horizons and I found out that I love a good Cabernet Sauvignon along with other reds and whites. My taste buds are finally opening up to dry wines as well.

I guess I need to go and ahead and answer my tag. Does this game ever stop? Lol

I just got cavities, yes that's plural, filled for the first time last year too, it was devastating. I would prefer any Dr to a Dentist. It's so invasive, not to mention the drooling that the person cleaning your teeth can never get to before it hits your clothing...

Which CSI do you prefer? I'm a Nevada fan myself...

I've got to post my info soon too...

So good to learn some more about you girl.

Oh, so I'm like you with the watch thing. So good to have company, lol.

I use natural remedies too. Cold medications make me feel worse.

Yaaaay! Another Law & Order and CSI fan!

Sistalocd - Gee thanks for the welcome. I was a candy freak too back in the day, but I guess I was lucky. Now I had better watch the sweets and sugar. I know I was suppose to tag someone else, but I guess somebody has to disobey the rules. LOL

Meikmeika - then you know exactly how I felt. But fortunately, it ended up being not as bad as I thought. As for CSI - the original Las Vegas is definitely my favorite.

Wendi - when I was going to tag folks, you were actually on my list too. So I guess we're even.

Muslim - you can definitely tag me. But I'm not making promises to do any more write ups. Only one per round for me.

I love Rieslings as well and am similar to you in that I have recently started to enjoy some dry wines.

There is a Riesling called "The Diva" that is absolutely delicious...you must try it.

I do enjoy Rieslings. Last year I discovered that I like a good Moscato even more.

nDrea - Thanks. The time is everywhere so we're missing out on anything.

Tra - Thanks. I will definitely add the Diva to my to try list.

Samara - Thank you so much. I am not familiar with Moscato so now you have me very curious. I may have to try it ASAP.

Hi Goodnapps.....you will never know how informative your blog has been to me as I take the steps towards getting sisterlocks. Thank you thank you thank you. Love your hair.

Anon - you are certainly welcome. Thanks for sharing your comment.

I've looked at numerous pictures of people with sisterlocks, looking for someone with what I think is hair like mine....yes i am a genuis I know.... in an effort to predict what my hair will look like. one thing, is i have always have had a dry scalp and so combat that with different oils. i take it the sisterlocs call for no oils etc?
i had a perm for years and years, then i got preggo and guess what? my hair started to fall out, then i nursed for a while and my hair REALLY fell out. not to go into my whole story or anything but i can really relate to your reasons for going this route. i've been natural since september when i cut off all my hair and started off fresh. i've been wearing braids since then to grow it out but every time those braids are out and i have to confront a comb.....
i get someone to blowdry it for me while they complain the whole time, then i pray for no rain until i get to hairdresser to get some more braids. does this even qualify as a comment any more? anyway again, thanks for the input and if there is anything else you can think of, please feel free to share. i don't think i will be as cute as you if i start out real short because i have super tight curls (naps), but by the fall i should have another inch or two to work with and hopefully i can pull it off.
